EL Paso Boxer Kyla Gomez

Kayla Gomez is spending her days training for the 2024 Olympic Games. But the fighting did not start there. Kayla received treatment for epileptic seizures until the age of 5.  With the treatment, Kayla outgrew epilepsy at age 5 and now she is a 13-time boxing national champion. In 2021, Kayla was named USA Boxing Youth Female Boxer of the Year.  She earned a place on the United States National Team among 11 other fighters from across the country.

Make Every Step Count: Lace up your shoes and take strides toward a world free from human trafficking. Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or somewhere in between, your steps matter in the fight against exploitation.

Raise Awareness: Human trafficking is a grave issue that affects countless lives. By participating, you’re not just walking; you’re shining a light on this dark reality. Awareness is the first step toward change.

Unite for Change: Join a compassionate community of individuals who share your commitment to ending trafficking. Together, we’re a force to be reckoned with, and together, we can make a lasting impact.

Supporting the Paso del Norte Center of Hope:

When you take part in this event, you’re not just walking or running; you’re extending a lifeline to survivors of human trafficking. A significant percentage of the proceeds will be devoted to the Paso del Norte Center of Hope, a beacon of hope for those who have endured unimaginable suffering. Your participation becomes a direct channel of support, breathing life into their mission of healing, empowerment, and renewal. Join us in making each step not just a stride forward but a giant leap towards brighter futures for survivors.

Sponsorship and Donor Opportunities:

We invite local businesses and individuals to join us as sponsors and donors for this critical cause. Your support will not only help cover event costs but also significantly contribute to our efforts against exploitation.
